Structured Notes Operations Vice President Jobs

Risk mitigation, ensuring client activity is successfully managed post trade execution.

Manage key operational aspects around the issuance/execution for complex structured financing transactions.

BA or BS degree is required; concentration in finance a plus

Experience with, or readiness to provide oversight over more junior team members

Operational knowledge of Bonds, Loans, Mortgages, Total Return Swaps and Structured bonds/notes will be highly beneficial

Middle Office support for various global Structured Credit Trading businesses

Strong relationship management and negotiation skills

Partners with Relationship Managers on new business development opportunities related to syndicated bank loans.

Very strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication

Expert presentation and public speaking skills

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills

Demonstrated complex contact negotiation/creation skills

Significant experience in structured finance and securitized assets transactions, commercial and residential real estate finance, and asset-backed securities.

Experience advising fund managers and non-bank institutions as lenders or investors is a plus.

Manage outside counsel review of all investment documentation and oversee outside counsel with respect to investments generally.

Strong technical legal and commercial skills.

Ability to oversee and effectively manage outside counsel and internal stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills – presents ideas in a clear, concise and constructive manner.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline preferred

5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with structured notes industry experience

Knowledge of alternative investments a plus
