Structural Fabricator Jobs in Maine

5 years of prior structural steel fabrication experience.

Prior knowledge of pipe bending machine, plate shear, press brake, plate rolls, and oxy-fuel/plasma torches required.

Responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding projects as directed.

Required to pass a tack welding test.

Must have a good understanding of welding symbols.

Additional Welding Qualifications as determined by Management.

Working Environment: Safe, climate-controlled workshop, clean shop, an average tenure over 10 years of service within Voith.

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (stick) 2G both SST & CS.

Flux Cored Arc Welding (Dual Shield) 2G, 3G both SST & CS.

Arcing, back gouging & NDE of back gouge.

Strong ability to ready fabrication blueprints.
