Experience designing and improving financial processes, systems, and controls to match the needs of a high growth business at scale

Proficiency with core financial and GTM systems. Salesforce, Netsuite, SQL, and Planful experience is a plus

Supporting Plaid’s Chief Operating Officer and S&M Leadership on strategic planning and budgeting processes

Owning all financial modeling, planning, and reporting for Plaid’s GTM org, including monthly budget reviews and annual planning

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, management, finance, or equivalent required - CPA is preferred

MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, or finance preferred

Senior experience working in a financial environment with involvement in management reporting and budgeting/forecasting.

Personal time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure that deadlines are met.

Minimum of 7-8 years professional experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance

Modernize strategic business systems and tools including finance process automation and digital enhancements/improvements.

6+ of work experience including investment banking, private equity, venture capital or consulting

Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving and communication skills

Knowledge of SQL or strong desire to learn

Evaluating areas of growth and investment for Plaid by assessing total addressable market, revenue opportunities, unit economics, and investment costs

Collaborating with business leaders to provide analytical support and frameworks to optimize decision making

Strong knowledge of payroll processing, contractor payments, and invoice management.

Proven experience (at least 2 years) in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.

Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or similar).

Conducting monthly finance review meetings with leadership to provide insight and raise issues for consideration regarding our financial situation

Experience with budgeting, tracking financial metrics, and generating financial reports.

Familiarity with tax regulations and experience in submitting tax documents.

Possesses extremely strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills

Has knowledge of SQL, or a desire and aptitude to learn this quickly
