Stem Teacher Jobs in Massachusetts

• Manage and mentor research associates and scientists

• Deep knowledge of Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSCs), CRISPR-Cas9 or related gene editing platforms is preferred

• Demonstrable experience in leading a team to successful career progression is strongly preferred

• Prior experience managing reports directly as well as in a matrix environment

• Experience in Hemoglobinopathy is desirable

Director, Stem Cell Gene Editing

Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based knowledge.

Experience working with laboratory mice highly encouraged.

Utilizes specialized laboratory equipment and analysis of the data generated by this equipment.

Able to coordinate purchase of lab supplies and instrumentation maintenance.

Provides input to the overall research design to suggest techniques, maximize samples or refine data by the use of specialized techniques.

Performs regular inventory and ordering of lab common stocks, analyzing lab workflows to arrange materials and resources in an efficient manner.
