DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

5. Follow oral and/or written instructions. Read, understand, and work from shop drawings, maintenance manuals and blueprints.

7. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Order parts and materials as assigned.

Assists in repair and maintenance of underground utility systems, including irrigation water and storm drains.

Conducts daily inspections of the steam boilers and makes repairs to related systems; assure proper equipment operation.

Locates and acquires parts necessary for repair or maintenance.

Performs maintenance and repair to related electrical and mechanical controls and piping systems; diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems.
