Demonstrated experience in food and lifestyle photography and illustration; experience with conceptual still-life, portrait, and documentary photography a plus.

2-5+ years of professional photography experience

Be knowledgeable of technical photography trends and provide insight into industry best practices and content generation ideas.

Collaborate with marketing, logistics and distribution departments to schedule and execute quality on-location shoots

Create original photography for the Stay Alfred brand

Maintain a high volume of photo shoots while upholding and elevating Stay Alfred’s photography guidelines

Thorough knowledge of photographic techniques, digital SLRs, lighting, and studio management

Experience using media asset management systems and managing content and metadata, or other relevant information management experience.

Curate and color-correct photography to prepare for uploading into the Digital Asset Management tool.

Solid experience and understanding of digital photo technology and photo editing and organizing software

Strong photo editing, color correction, composition, and photo storytelling skills.

Excellent grammar, writing, and editing skills.

Coverage of home and away athletic events

Log and archive materials according to established data asset management guidelines.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and brand requirements.

Develop a consistent and superior visual aesthetic for all shoots.

Communicate a vision through a shot list and storyboard.

Organize raw footage; prepare and revise edit, as needed.

Apply the technical aspects of light, lenses, filters, and camera settings to achieve the desired effects.

Work with Coordinator of Digital Asset Management to assure the quality of the photo archiving database with proper metadata and tagging

1+ year of experience in photographing high-speed action in indoor and outdoor events, with advanced knowledge in a studio environment

Knowledge of metadata and how it affects the user experience when searching for an asset

Bachelor’s Degree in visual arts, production, or equivalent education

Experience in creating image-based storytelling content

Strong written and verbal communication skills
