Staff Business Intelligence Engineer Jobs

Experience with business intelligence reporting and visualization tools, including Looker and similar platforms

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience

Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Experience writing complex SQL queries

Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab

Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Full project management and development life cycle experience

Minimum 7+ years of combined experience in data warehousing/business intelligence/analytics and reporting systems.

Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity and Derivative businesses

Strong ability to analyze user requirements, make recommendations and implement solutions

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

2 or more years of experience in SQL, SAS or other data systems

1 year of Python or similar automation experience

1 year + of technical experience in data analysis and visualization

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.

Bachelors- Masters or doctorate in computer science- software engineering- applied mathematics or similar disciplines- or equivalent professional experience

10+ years of experience with the implementation and delivery of large-scale enterprise data tools and related systems

Demonstrated experience with customer-centric agile methods

Be the subject matter expert for Business Intelligence and Power BI.

Lead and be accountable for the design and development of the state-of-the art pipelines and visualizations

Co-develop and follow enterprise wide standards

You have experience working with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and/or Revops teams to provide information and tools that make them successful.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.

2+ years of experience in a BI Engineer or similar role, working with data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehousing technologies, such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Airflow).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports.
