They also work with media outlets to ensure that the team or athlete is represented accurately and positively. Sports Marketing Managers must be knowledgeable about the sport they are working with, as well as the team or athlete they are representing. They must be able to create and execute effective marketing strategies and campaigns, as well as manage budgets and resources.
