They are responsible for providing patient care, preparing and maintaining dental instruments and materials, and assisting the dentist in various procedures.Detailed Job Description:
A Specialty Dental Assistant is responsible for providing patient care, preparing and maintaining dental instruments and materials, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. They must be knowledgeable in dental terminology, anatomy, and physiology, and must be able to take and record patient medical histories. They must also be able to explain treatment procedures to patients and provide them with post-operative instructions. Specialty Dental Assistants must be able to take and process X-rays, and must be able to sterilize and maintain dental instruments. They must also be able to perform basic laboratory procedures, such as making impressions and taking measurements.What is Specialty Dental Assistant Job Skills Required?
