Solid Waste Services Manager Jobs in North Carolina

Analysis of alternative solid waste management methods (e.g., recycling, organics diversion, composting) and effects on climate and air quality.

Knowledge of analytical methods to quantify environmental issues.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Tracking and analyzing regulations and policies that affect the waste sector and/or landfill gas industry.

Performing landfill inspections, landfill gas sampling, and other onsite activities at U.S. landfills on behalf of government agencies.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Performs inspection or preoperational checklist on all equipment and determines and/or conducts preventative maintenance and cleaning.

Generates and completes all assigned work orders and documents daily work activities.

Provides information to customers as requested.

Performs other similar duties as required.

Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver’s License (Class A, Truck with Trailer)
