Exceptional project and program management skills

Manage the yearly budget for the program’s registrations, marketing, equipment, and any other purchases. Provide monthly budget updates to Leadership Team.

Manage/maintain Program, Staff, and Facility schedule including facility training programs, Powered-By training, mobile league development fall/spring, camps, mobile training, clinics, etc.

Manages and oversees the daily operation of the department and staff.

Manage staff hours, maintain instructor-to-player ratio on turf, ensures timeliness of schedule release to staff, and stay under payroll budget.

Experience playing as a collegiate athlete

Three or more years of experience in athletics operations or event management at the NCAA Division I Level is highly desired;

Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent combination of education and experience;

Minimum of 1 year of related administrative experience supporting a collegiate softball program;

Basic knowledge and ability to utilize video analysis systems, such as DARTFISH, Rapsodo, Blast and/or Flight Scope;

Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships;

Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications desired

Prefer previous experience in umpiring.

Knowledge of softball fundamentals and ASA rules

Familiarizes self with league rules and ASA rules.

Enforces the rules and regulations of the game fairly and consistently.

Understands and enforces the player code of conduct.
