Social Services Coordinator I Grade 20 Jobs

Providing services to individuals and families at-risk for or experiencing homelessness

Bilingual Proficiency: Spanish/English, French/English, Amharic/English and vice versa

Ability to utilize reliable transportation to promptly report to job assignment and other locations, per job requirements.

Meets accuracy and speed standards for shelving.

Helps ensure that the location is neat, orderly, appealing and inviting to customers and staff and other clerical duties as assigned.

Assists location staff in coordinating volunteer activities.

Performs additional duties as assigned including serving on task forces, committees, etc.

16 years of age (work permit required for minors).

Required to work at a higher class as necessary and in accordance with required licenses and/or certification

Ability to obtain flagger certification within a specified amount of time.

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must meet the following experience criteria

Must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent

State-paid Medical examination that includes:

Cultivate collaborative relationships with Property Management peers and colleagues at the property level

Conducts door-to-door, phone, e-mail outreach and other marketing strategies to make residents aware of services offered

Offer exemplary customer service and responsiveness to residents

Minimum of one (1) year experience working in any of the following related areas preferred:

Experience supporting program and service implementation and coordination

Experience collaborating with local service providers preferred
