Certification by the International Code Council as a Combination Inspector, Plans Examiner or Building Official.

Possession of or ability to obtain I.C.C. Building Official Certification or must obtain within one year of employment.

Supports and models the identified vision, values, and behaviors of the Building Division and the City of Burien.

Actively engages in process improvement efforts, including implementation of applicable department initiatives.

Strong computer skills, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Visiting Team Penalty Box Attendant

Setup, test and operate all technical equipment including ECHL review systems, game computer and time-on-ice computers and printers.

Understanding of scoring system used in professional sports leagues and excellent understanding of the ECHL playing rules.

Ability to demonstrate a calm demeanor, discretion and professionalism always, and especially in potentially emotional situations in this critical role.

About the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL)

Must possess some knowledge of rules and policies in various sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, football and baseball.

Experience as a sports referee preferred but not required.

Must possess some knowledge of rules and policies in various sports such as basketball, baseball, football, soccer and volleyball

Have a general knowledge of fitness and wellness

Have strong communication and organizational skills
