Skilled Utility Operator Jobs

Must have working knowledge of operating gas and oil utility sized boilers.

Must have working knowledge of operating high pressure, high temperature steam turbine generator sets including computerized SCADA controls.

Previous Power plant or Military experience preferred in the following areas:

Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports, handover notes, and end-of-swing handovers. Awareness of any Plant or PSM Facility experience.

Performs electrical and mechanical inspections, trouble-shooting, and maintenance tasks under direction of management when assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Reads all Chemical SDS related to Top Cap and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements.

Meet all training, behavioral and attendance requirements.

Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Basic: High School Diploma, GED (General Education Development) or equivalent required

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English

Minimum of two years previous experience in a manufacturing environment, automation, or assembly is required

Knowledgeable and experienced with heavy equipment operation

Strong leadership abilities as demonstrated with past work experience or activities.

Superior cognitive and systems knowledge to achieve production goals.

Perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in clean, good working order.

Proficiency in maintaining the proper paperwork.

Ability to operate the machine in a timely and safe manner.

Minimum of 5 years of related oil & gas industry experience

Experience working with Cygnet software

Good problem solving and critical thinking skills

Paid vacation time based on the total years of career experience, ranging from 3-6 weeks annually

Monitor chemical levels, injection rates, and maximize efficiency of chemical pumped

Pulling bottoms and emptying environmental containers

Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.

Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of job function.

Proactively monitors well and equipment performance, take appropriate action to maximize production.

Works with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.).

Interfaces with Engineering for data gathering requests.

Conducts fluid levels with echo meter.

Maintain environmental and safety requirements.

Experience working rotating shifts is desirable as all employees work rotating shifts, 24 hours/day and 7 days/week.

Good communication skills (written, face-to-face, radio, and/or or telephone).

Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

High school graduate or GED. Completion of an Associates degree or vocational training highly desirable.

Must have a high attention to detail, sense of urgency, and troubleshooting skills.

Set up production line to for correct quality production of product is completed.

Must be able to communicate effectively written and verbally with team.
