Shop Structural Ironworker 1 Jobs

Must have all required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Must have 4+ years of industrial welding experience.

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have 4+ years of experience welding experience on industrial size and grade equipment.

Must have experience welding multiple types of material possibly including but not limited to: carbon steel, Fluxcore, stainless, aluminum and chrome.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Ironworker Helper.

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have experience with rigging and rigging equipment.

Must be able to illustrate knowledge of the construction process of constructing a steel/iron structure.

Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions

National Center for Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter.

Must have 2 plus years of helper reinforced ironworker experience

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

Experience working with scaffolding, insulation, and painting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

1+ years’ experience academically and/or professionally using FEA software.

Strong computational and mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or academic projects

Solid Edge or other design program experience

Analyze steel structures using FEA software to support the development and refinement of designs from components to assembly level

Add welds to assemblies as required to facilitate structural analysis of assemblies to verify current state

Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions
