Researches and resolves inventory related to Pick Slot Anomaly Report, Stock Outage Report, and Faulty Task Management Reports.

Manages all product that may appear at the "Product Resolution Area" (Bump Wall).

Pc skills, Excel, Power Point and Word.

Inventory Control Clerk - Full-time

Uses designated plans and processes completes assigned Cycle Count Plans.

Verifies pick and reserve locations and confirms accuracy of reported Inventory, makes adjustments as necessary.

Same as Level I plus willingness to learn new skills (ie. computer)

Work requires one-year institutional food preparation experience.

Work requires two years institutional food preparation experience.

Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

Ensures accounts payable is current.

As our Inventory Control Clerk you will:

Be responsible for inventory accuracy. Verifying inventory counts

Handle inventory requests from Customer Service. Supply inventory reports daily

Enter and file inventory documents

Communication skills are needed for this position

Must have inventory experience, 1 year of rececent work history experience with no gaps

Having Food Warehouse Distribution experience is a plus

Must have Forklift and electric pallet jack experience

The schedule is M-F 7am – 3:30pm,

Must be willing to work overtime,

Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices

One (1) year of experience involved in performing work in a warehouse that requires the use of various warehouse practices

Skills in mathematics, personal computers, and related applications are vital

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Perform weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments as necessary.

Communicate with customers regarding timing of physical inventories. Work with Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Warehouse Supervisors to establish cut-off dates.

Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk.

6 months warehousing and inventory experience

Working knowledge of SAP inventory system

Conduct training for new associates.

Monitor performance of associates within the work group.

Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.

A minimum of three years of job experience, Inventory Control, or other Clerical in a Distribution Center setting.

Able to communicate effectively, written and verbal; Possess strong math skills, and excellent organizational practices with high attention to detail.

Possess and practice strong teamwork skills; Serve as a resource to others and provide inter-department support.

Receives, issues, and transfers material using the on line BOL and Amtrak’s Inventory System, SAP.

Restocking Supply Pro Vending machine as needed and creating material transfers for supplies.

Process Warranty material through Amtrak’s SAP & SAGE software, including contacting vendor for RMA documentation for proper reconciliation.

Must maintain neat and clean work area.

Prior inventory control and warehouse experience preferred

Must possess effective organizational and analytical skills

Visually verifies all requisition orders by comparing descriptions and quantities of items on the cart to those printed on the requisition.

Assists the Inventory Control Supervisor with processing all necessary paperwork to issue items from the Warehouse to venues.

Updates completed daily inventory requisition.

Complete all required data entry prior to the end of the day.

Alphabetical and numerical accuracy abilities.

Input repair, promotion, discount, and charge codes on completed Repair Orders.

Process repair order shipping documents.

Process exchange equipment return paperwork dispositioning to inventory.

Issue parts to assembly, service work, and sales orders using work order picklists.

Ability to become certified to operate a forklift through the Company; Forklift experience preferred

Ability to operate basic computer functions. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Transporting materials from one location to the other

Keeping inventory organized and in proper locations

Ensuring that hardware is marked properly and clearly with a part number and accurate quantity

Receiving inventory and verifying materials match approved drawings
