3Rd Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician Jobs in Texas

Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

Performs recuts and additional stains including special and immunohistochemistry stains, as requested by a Pathologist

Operates computerized laboratory equipment to fix, dehydrate, and infiltrate with wax, tissue specimens to be preserved for study by Pathologist

Dispose of hazardous chemical wastes per regulatory guidelines

Eligible for State licensure, if applicable

Working knowledge of costing, controlling assets and maintain within budget restraints.

Five years of maintenance experience including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic.

Experience with injection molding and Engel equipment preferred.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of Injection Molding equipment.

Must be able to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics

Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic repairs and fabrication.

Plan and execute other skilled mechanical or electrical services as necessary.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities systems including required calibrations as scheduled.

Install or repair various facilities infrastructure equipment and support equipment including ductwork, piping and wiring.

Make periodic inspections of all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.

Monitor and support sub-contractors in performance of work.

Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: None Required. Minimum Experience: 1 year experience in related field.

Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to document labor, assets and inventory

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Effectively communicate, with Manager and Team members, through phone, text and email.

Perform other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the Shift manager.

Minimum of 2 year of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing or distribution environment.
