Senior Warehouse Manaager Jobs

5+ years’ experience in distribution management leading 40+ employees in a large distribution/warehouse environment

Must have leadership experience in managing and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management

Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management

Phenomenal interactive communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization

Previous experience working in a WMS environment is required

Strong computer skills to include expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and 5 years or HS/GED and 9 years, 3 years of management

Experience: 5 years of warehouse experience.

Directs work groups daily activities, resolves problems, answers questions, assigns and prioritizes work.

Oversees fulfillment operations such receiving, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, cycle counting, and maintenance of products

Develops employees through coaching and counseling, directing assignments, planning and directing training activities.

Develops, monitors, implements warehouse and distribution best practices and metrics

Lead and develop unit leaders and co-workers through open and honest development conversations, sharing knowledge of the IKEA culture and business.

Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, or Retail Distribution preferred.

5+ years of leadership experience

Fluent in English, both written and spoken Requirements

Plan the operational staffing and equipment needs by using forecasting tools and reports.

Monitor short- and long-term forecasting models to ensure cohesiveness with the budget and operational efficiency.
