Senior Underwriting Analyst Associate Jobs

Key responsibilities of the Associate / Senior Analyst will include but are not limited to:

·Experience in the energy, utilities, environmental services, clean technology, industrials, logistics, and/or infrastructure sectors;

·Compensation: Title and compensation commensurate with experience

·Develop detailed financial models to support analyses;

Verify pictures for property reinspection program.

Order MVR's CBR's, and CLUE reports for Underwriter purposes.

Verify motorboat information for new business and changes.

Match dictated letters/memos with files in dictation trays.

Review diary prior to referring to Underwriters for reordering of CBR's and/or MVR's.

Supporting transactions by screening underwriting applications, tracking project development, providing technical assistance and asset management to ensure project closing and funding

Salary range of $70,000 to $78,000 - commensurate with experience and skills

Strong communication skills – demonstrated through oral and written communications with attention to detail

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; preferred experience with Salesforce

Minimum of at least 2 years of project management and/or data process experience

Strong knowledge of Excel or another tool for data manipulation

Property & Casualty Insurance and/or PEO experience preferred

Build and analyze reports to identify where changes should be made for better efficiency and quality, and lower costs

2 to 4 years’ experience working in the US or international insurance or reinsurance industry.

Prior experience in financial lines underwriting is preferred, however claims or brokerage experience also acceptable.

Prior experience in Nat CAT or risk modeling is a plus.

Good communication skills and collaborative spirit.

Must be comfortable working with computers and skilled at basic Microsoft suite programs: Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Maintain a strong working knowledge of our administrative systems, product rules, Underwriting Guidelines and medical factors impacting mortality.

7+ years of previous Underwriting experience required

Ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view

Makes decisions that have cross-functional impact
