Detailed Job Description The Senior Transportation Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, including overseeing the scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments. The Senior Transportation Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the transportation operations. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Senior Transportation Manager is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing transportation costs and performance, and providing reports to management. Job Skills Required
