Senior Security Operations Engineer Jobs in Iowa

A high degree of personal responsibility as you may be working partially from home/remotely

Expertise in IT, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, DevOps, Application Security or Security Automation

Conduct in-person and remote product demonstrations, working closely with Sales Account Executives to present the technical value proposition

A real passion for learning new skills and technologies

Assists sales in technical qualification.

In-depth knowledge of multiple Operating Systems and Security Solutions

Develop and maintain logging and monitoring capabilities across our cloud surface, using built-in tools or custom ones

Develop Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities

Good knowledge of IaaS solutions such as AWS, GCP or Azure

1-2 years of aggregate experience in similar roles (e.g., L1 Support, SOC Analyst)

CSP certifications (check our providers here), where Security or Operations focused are preferred (e.g., AWS: Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, Certified Security)

General security certifications from entities like ISC2 and GIAC (e.g., SSCP, GCIH)

Partner closely with Finance, Operations, IT, executive management, and key product leaders to build a shared vision

Experience with threat modeling or other risk identification techniques, and risk management

Solid project management experience desired for working on multi-functional projects

Drive program management activities required to establish effective incident management and notification protocols

Develop and lead effective incident management and notification protocols

Experience establishing and scaling security operations capabilities required to provide 24/7/365 coverage
