Senior Product Counsel Jobs

Assist with respect to management of litigation and other dispute resolution processes.

Significant experience advising clients with respect to transactions in the renewables industry, with a focus on M&A and/or project finance.

Manage and supervise outside counsel within budgetary constraints; review and approve outside counsel invoices.

4-8 years of relevant experience at a major law firm or with a sophisticated in-house legal department.

At least 5 years of relevant legal experience with a strong preference for knowledge and experience in insurance and/or financial services.

Engage and manage outside counsel as necessary.

Strong analytical, legal research, writing, and communication skills.

CIPP or similar certification by the International Association of Privacy Professionals a plus.

Provide day to day legal counsel on data collection, use, disclosure, and analytics practices.

Assist with responding to data subject rights requests.

Conduct legal product reviews and maintain an inventory of features, technology, data, and compliance requirements.

10 or more years applicable experience; admission to a state bar.

In-house experience as a product counsel at a technology company with artificial intelligence/machine-learning experience strongly preferred (bonus points for SaaS experience).

Sense of humor, excellent interpersonal skills, business judgment, strategic thinking, superior work ethic, flexibility and ability to work independently.

Understand and stay up to date on U.S. and international laws and regulations related to Zoom’s products and services.

Provide pragmatic day to day and strategic advice to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives.
