Senior Packaging Specialist Jobs

2+ years of Project Management experience.

Environmental engineering or management experience

Project Management of network-wide environmental and packaging innovation projects

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word knowledge and experience to analyze data quickly and efficiently

Bachelor of Science Degree (Packaging/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience in a related field.

Ability to create, manage, analyze large data sets and analytical tools in Excel

Collaborate with the Senior Packaging Specialist on any photography and photography requirements for packages.

A minimum of 1-3 years design related experience.

Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.

Prior retail packaging design experience preferred.

Compile and release any visual tools/artwork requested by both internal and external clients.

Responsible for adhering to all category deadlines, both internal and external.

Experience defining roadmaps and writing market & product requirement documents.

Deeply analyze the competitive landscape- roadmaps, specifications for competing technologies and the pros/cons vs. Samsung’s offerings.

Define technology portfolio and roadmaps for Samsung advanced packaging offerings.

Specify technical requirements for each packaging technology with market needs and future insight.

Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Semiconductor packaging experience in and engineering, marketing, or product planning function at a leading IDM, foundry, OSAT or fabless product company.

Create and maintain Benefit’s packaging material restriction list; alert packaging engineers if a package under development does not meet restrictions

1- 3 years of Experience in Packaging Development

Knowledge of cosmetic packaging materials & development

Knowledge of package safety tests

Maintain packaging material database and perform country specific import quantity calculations as needed for global reporting.

Complete country specific packaging material reporting to authorities as required to ensure company compliance to applicable packaging regulatory/environmental legislations globally.

Possesses the basic mechanical and technical skills to accomplish the required machine adjustments and maintenance.

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently, as well as within a team.

Work within a fast paced and innovative company, meeting passionate colleagues and partners with diverse backgrounds and experiences

Reads and correctly interprets packaging schedules, understands, and follows job procedures, work instructions, as well as special notices and/or instructions.

May be required to work various shifts as determined by the business needs.

May be required to train and certify other employees

Knowledge of procurement/inventory management systems and procedures.

Accurate/timely data entry for GXP documents.

Min. 5 yr in Packaging, Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing experience in a GxP environment. Hazardous shipping training a plus.

Fluent in speaking / writing in English. Proficient Microsoft Office and Computer skills.

Excellent customer service skills; displays a professional can-do attitude.
