Senior Oracle Database Engineer Jobs in Ohio

5+ years of Oracle Database Management and Oracle EBS 12.2 application administration.

Install, configure and manage Oracle databases, including user permissions.

Manage database backups, restoration and security.

Cloud experience specifically on Azure

Must be an expert in YAML, BASH, and Skills for automation on top of Oracle DB platform for housekeeping, compliance, monitoring

Development experience in Python modules

Knowledge/experience in performing proof of concepts, onboarding and certification of new SQL versions and tools.

Responsible for SQL Server Database design, development, deployment, life cycle management, migration, and automation efforts.

Knowledge/experience in writing and managing PowerShell scripts for DB Deployment, patching and automation efforts.

Knowledge/experience in Automation and Integrate SQL Server version upgrade, patching and security standards.

Perform proof of concepts, onboarding and certification of new SQL versions and tools.

2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Education: 4-year University degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

7+ years of relevant technical experience in System administration/DevOps/SRE roles

Work from anywhere: onsite, hybrid or fully remote.
