Senior Manager Global Procurement Jobs in Arkansas

Cost Management: Implement cost optimization strategies, negotiate contracts, and continuously evaluate pricing models to enhance profitability while maintaining quality standards.

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Demonstrated success in strategic procurement, cost reduction, and supplier relationship management.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, quality control, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes.

Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, including safety, quality, and legal requirements.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior procurement role.

In addition to the above qualifications, any experience with inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting would be beneficial.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Mentors more junior team members and might take on line management responsibilities as required

Collaborates with key stakeholders across the organization and provides regular updates on study progress to senior management as required

Leads planning and management of the assigned clinical study(ies) from feasibility through closeout activities

Manages study budgets, including baseline budget evaluation, change control, study closure budget, budget endorsement by senior management

Generates, manages, maintains, and communicates high quality study timelines and tracks progress towards these

Works with the sourcing team to select and manage study vendors, approving invoice payment throughout the study

Manage procurement responsibilities in both direct

Accountable for the implementation of the sourcing strategy and vendor relationship management

The Senior Procurement Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:

Ensure that the key requirements of the Site and Supply Chain are built into the relevant Category Procurement strategies and delivered

6+ years of Procurement experience in a large FMCG company

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Identify, manage, and mitigate risks in the supply chain, follow market conditions and collect vendor intelligence

Develop, negotiate and manage global contractual relationships including all appropriate supply agreements

6+ years relevant experience required

Experience tendering, contracting and managing group transporters

Implement global category sourcing strategies with business leads for assigned categories

Implement SRM with strategic suppliers
