Senior Manager – Financial Accounting Jobs in Wake, North Carolina

Manage the quarterly balance sheet analysis and support the Director of Accounting to enhance the departments analytics, including supporting change management

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Extensive and demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 830 - Foreign Currency Matters

Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

Manage and supervise all aspects of accounting, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Analyze and review month end consolidation and the monthly management reports for accuracy

Develop and manage a high performing team within the department

Complete regular review and reporting associated with lender financing requirements and loan setup

3+ years Previous team leader / management experience

Strong organization and time-management skills. The ability to work independently without supervision

Manage project completion dates for coaches to facilitate in reducing churn and increasing adoption

Manage team’s expense reports for accuracy and timeliness of submission

Manage team’s vacation requests to guarantee that the work is being completed and vacation is not abused

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

Drawing conclusions and devising solutions to problems relating to financial management effectiveness work methods, financial systems and procedure efficiency

Case Management Control System (CMCS);

Defense Institute of Security Assistance Management (DISAM);

The Contractor shall also support financial executions and Security Assistance Management Reviews and any other financial reviews as necessary.

The Contractor shall participate in year-end closeout team activities and preparation of the Program Management Administration (PMA) budget, and quarterly reports.

Prior experience with or knowledge of SAP preferred

Monitor unprocessed revenue balances and prepare reports and analysis for Manager’s review as requested

$130K-135K + 15 to 20% bonus depending on experience
