Senior Manager – Financial Accounting Jobs in California

Collaborate on designing, developing, and implementing reporting capabilities to align with our business operations.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience,

Prior experience in public accounting is mandatory.

Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting, with knowledge of cost accounting being a plus.

Experience with complex ERP systems

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional analytical skills.

Lead cross-functional projects to improve the level of internal control and risk management

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA / CA / MBA preferred

7+ years of related business experience Retail industry preferred but not a must

Advanced skills with Excel applications (PIVOTs, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, macros)

Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Driven, able to balance multiple priorities. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

6+ years of production and corporate accounting experience.

Experience with Forecasting the P&L, BS and Cashflow.

Strong preference for candidates from media & entertainment & public/private firms.

Manage the monthly ARR forecasting and reporting process for subscription and SaaS offerings

5+ years of experience in financial planning, business analysis and strategy (preferably in tech industry covering cloud services and on-premises software)

Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or Accounting (MBA or CPA is preferred)

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards

Systems: knowledge of SAP reporting and Hyperion a plus
