Senior Landscape Architecture Studio Lead Jobs

Key Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs

Experience with InDesign, Land F/X, Bim360, SketchUp, and Photoshop is a plus

At least five years of industry work experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture or five additional years of industry work experience

2+ years of experience preferred.

Skill in hand graphics is a major plus

Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution

Proficiency AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Revit, the Adobe Creative Suite, and the Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch Up

Familiar with following municipal/jurisdictional regulations

Professional work experience in public and/or private practice is required.

Temp Tech/ParaProfessional - Landscape Architecture

Professional licensure is desirable but not required.

Driving 2-3 hrs at a time; lifting objects up to 25 lbs (computer/projector, publications)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture

Extensive knowledge of all aspects of landscape architecture project development including plant material, vegetation inventories, material specification, budgeting and project detailing.

In-depth knowledge of the regulatory permitting process for the region.

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

Must be well versed in the area market and have a proven track record of generating revenue.

Assist in all aspects of the design process for landscape architecture projects.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by office manager

0-2 years of experience in a professional design office. Experience in the Triangle market is a plus.

Experience with ArcGIS software, SketchUp and other graphics software is a plus.

Strong hand graphics skills for both plan and perspective sketches.

Assisting with the preparation of concept design sketches, including a combination of hand-drawn and computer-generated drawings and graphics

Assist with due diligence efforts in evaluating project feasibility

Project scoping and concept through construction phase project management

Possess extensive experience with public sector agencies and private sectors in major Southern California Cities and Counties, specifically in LA County

Excellent creative and critical thinking skills

Excellent verbal and presentation skills

High-level understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, LandFX, Sketch-Up, or similar platforms at a supervisory level of effectiveness

Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions and how they apply to design projects

Manage quality on projects through our Quality Assurance process

Excellent creative and critical thinking skills

Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills

High-level understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, or similar platforms at a supervisory level of effectiveness

Lead business development efforts, including market research, developing and maintaining client relationships, developing leads, and securing contracts
