Senior Juvenile Correctional Officer Jobs in Iowa

One year of experience working in a children's services facility (volunteer experience and practicum or intern experience may be considered)

Ensure juveniles adhere to Juvenile Service Center rules and guidelines

Supervise recreational activities and assist with serving meals

Serve as role model for juveniles; encourage and assist juveniles in the practice of proper hygiene

Adhere to all laws (such as the Prison Rape Elimination Act), rules, and Center policies and procedures

Follow rules, regulations, and guidelines asset forth in the Centers manual and as directed by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
