Senior Finance Data Analyst Jobs

Experience with data visualization applications (Tableau) and financial management software applications (Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, Essbase, IBM TM1 or Cognos, etc.)

1-2 years of professional experience in a finance or business operations role conducting analysis on revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial modeling.

Identify gaps in our finance tracking systems and provide recommendations to narrow divides to provide a comprehensive view on our finances.

Liaise with our Finance and Accounting Team to monitor and analyze financial data, identifying patterns and trends, and build custom reports.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Data Science or a related field.

Experience conducting data analysis with Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to transform complex and unstructured data into actionable insights.

Knowledge of Cognos Finance, Cognos BI and TM1

Meet regularly with executive stakeholders to gather requirements

Robust financial modeling experience with ability to understand and construct financial models

Possess high level of business analytic skills to translate data into information in a usable and presentable form

Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling skills

Must have Experience in the Gambling or Gaming Industry

Project Finance acquisition, management or transaction experience preferred.

Analyse market risk factors, pricing and risk management products, including hedges.

Assist with structured finance product development, including developing structural solutions for tax equity investments.

Advanced degree and/or CFA certification is optional.

Exceptional analytical skills and understanding of relevant financial and mathematical modelling techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express ideas effectively and fluently.

Champion pricing concepts and tools that help the sales team effectively price and structure deals while managing business metrics and requirements

Coordinate with the rebates team and marketing team to manage pricing projects

Strong presentation skills and the ability to put together sophisticated informative presentations with minimal direction and oversight.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience of database management

Interpret data into useful insights for category managers

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems or similar subject area with analytical bias

3+ years in the field of finance data science ideal

Advanced knowledge of Excel (PowerPivot, Power Query)

Experience with extracting, transforming, and normalizing data using systems such as SQL, Power Query and Azure Data Studio
