Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations matters.

Develop and implement employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge and understanding of complex Federal HR management functions, theories, and techniques; and the basic relationships of the various HR disciplines.

Provide employee relations assistance to managers for assigned organizations of a complex nature.

Provide consultation and assistance on complex and often controversial conduct-related issues.

Independently serve as the HR focal point for one or more employee relations programs.

Partners with Workers' Compensation and Absence Management teams on accommodation and special leave requests.

Involvement with professional organizations, such as the Society of Human Resource Management or Employee and Labor Relations organizations

Drive for continuous improvement, active partner in change management initiatives and appetite for change

Preferred Experience: Substantive knowledge of employment laws. Multi-unit, multi-state retail experience

Strong problem-solving and investigative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with, support, counsel and engage with all levels within the organization.
