Strong Communication, Presentation, Organization and Relationship Management Skills

Experience: Eight years related experience in Property and Commercial claims. Prefer experience in property/casualty claims management.

Casualty Claim knowledge highly preferred

Manage portfolio of 25-30 vendors and act as the day-to-day internal / external point of contact

What You’ll Bring To The Company:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Three years of related experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of legal, medical and business terms.

Knowledge of Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation Statutes, Rules, Regulations and Procedures.

Ability to travel independently for conferences, continuing education and site inspections.

Partner closely with Producers, Insurance and Safety teams to identify and provide solutions for our client’s claim management needs.

Responsible for prompt delivery and coordination of claim management services.

Manage key relationships with insurers, TPAs, adjusters and safety professionals.

Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of insurance industry experience required; Construction, Multi-line, or workers’ compensation experience a plus.

Beginning to apply conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external customer relationships

Monitors treatment and benefit payments for excessive, unreasonable, or abusive claims

No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

Beginning to apply knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, and regulation

Experience and/or working knowledge of estimating and total loss evaluation systems.

2+ years of relevant adjusting and physical damage appraisal experience.

Current knowledge of property damage repair process.

Knowledgeable of Xactimate estimating platform.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Experience with agriculture and/or farming

Applied knowledge of agriculture and crop farming

Working knowledge of crop insurance regulations, policies, procedures and best practices

Working knowledge of investigative techniques and legal research methodologies

Experience and/or working knowledge of estimating and total loss evaluation systems.

2+ years of relevant adjusting and physical damage appraisal experience.

Current knowledge of property damage repair process.

Knowledgeable of Xactimate estimating platform.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.

Knowledge and execute on reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating injury claims

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

2+ years of related bodily injury experience

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes and ICD 10

Ability to train and perform the job in a remote setting while meeting our work from home requirements.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

Manage an inventory of claims within specified state compliance guidelines.

Manage communications in writing, by telephone and by electronic means (e.g., e-mail).

1-2 years claims liability experience

High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Job Requirements (education, experience, skills):

· Insurance experience – requires working knowledge, casualty, terms and elements

· Insurance experience – requires working knowledge property, casualty, and financial lines.

· College graduate and/or applicable training and/or experience

· 3+ years analyst, insurance, underwriting or relevant experience required

Targeted 6-8 years of commercial Property & Casualty experience in a client facing role or demonstrated capabilities to complete role responsibilities

Experience in program management of large, loss-sensitive, or guaranteed cost coverage lines, and/or global master programs.

Project management skills including attention to detail, organizational skills, prioritization, and time management.

Maintain accurate policy detail in Management System

Participation in internal pre-renewal strategy meeting, review of management of expiration list

Manage the certificate renewal process with clients to determine requirements, coordinating with cert center to insurance timely and accurate issuance.

Mentors less experienced claims associates and assists with training/presentations as assigned by claims management.

5+ years of Commercial Casualty Claims experience

Construction Defect claims experience is highly preferred

Delivers a positive customer service experience to all internal, external, current and prospective Nationwide customers.

Utilizes various methods of settlement in those cases where warranted; assigns cases to outside vendors as warranted.

Oversees defense counsel in all lawsuit activities throughout the life of the claim.

Coordinates vendor management, including the use of independent adjusters to assist the investigation of claims.

Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

Processes complex commercial and personal line property claims and ensures claim files are properly documented and coded correctly.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Five years of claims adjusting experience

Proven, excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of the claim function

Strong knowledge of insurance contracts, medical terminology and legal aspects of court procedures

Strong knowledge of computers and claims systems

Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills
