Supervises resident visitation. Job Requirements Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent and one (1) year general work experience.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Supervises all resident movement within the assigned unit/area.

Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.

Maintain the list of emergency contacts and contact members of management as needed

Escort personnel and visitors off from Bell and Evans property as directed by management

Answer, and direct phone calls after business and on weekends

Enforce all parking and driving rules within the Bell and Evans parking lots

Manages direct reports’ activity during shift to support basic business and department needs

Previous work experience of 3+ years in Security related field required

Education in a Security related field a plus

Resident expert on all related security systems and tools

Facilitates hands-on training and leadership development of direct reports, leveraging company provided tools

Observes, collects feedback and provides regular coaching and mentoring to direct reports

Must be computer literate and possess basic computer skills, such as data entry and usage of Microsoft Office.

Keeps control of the main gate access by providing remote surveillance and automated access control.

High School Diploma or GED with experience working with youth either through paid or unpaid positions preferred.

Keeps record of all vendors, service providers, attorneys, ICE and Border Patrol. Keeps a log record.

Responsible for inventory control of two way radios, mobile work-station units and company vehicles.

Provides constant monitoring of the surveillance system; provides support by informing department leads of any areas of concern.

Adhere to all safety, Risk Management and environmental policies.

Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office programs is required.

Radio communication knowledge and etiquette is a plus.

Previous experience in security or law enforcement is a plus.

Bi-lingual (English Spanish) language skills are a plus.

No previous security experience necessary, we will happily train the right candidate.

Know when to involve management.

Attends and participates in trainings or meetings offered by Audubon Nature Institute, outside agencies, or others as recommended by the Director.

Make eye contact with every customer encounter, smile at every person, offer friendly phrases and greetings.

Walk individual to destination instead of pointing; offer assistance to people who look confused.

One (1) years of experience in Security or a similar position preferred

Working knowledge of vehicle operation (Golf Carts, Motor Vehicle, Bicycles).
