Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

Must be able to obtain certification and safely operate forklift and other machinery as required

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Forklift and general freight handling knowledge is a plus

Responsible for the loading/unloading of 53 ft. commercial trailers and the operation of scanners

Use handheld scanners to efficiently track and maneuver freight through our distribution network

Accurately label boxes and prepare freight for shipment

Must have 1 year of customer or professional public facing experience.

Preferred one (1) year of experience in a security/law enforcement related profession, either civilian or military.

Must have intermediate to advanced English writing skills, including ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.

Must be able to pass all training and obtain all required certifications.

Must meet physical requirements of the position to include standing and walking for long periods of time.

Maintain the safety and security of all areas by taking actions as required by appropriate procedures and checklists.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Regular attendance in order to work packaging shifts as scheduled by packaging manager weekly.

Attend special events and brewery staff meetings as requested by Packaging Manager.

Advanced mathematical and reasoning skills

Strong overall understanding of safety procedures, regulations and requirements

Excellent written and verbal skills.

Five or more years of related work experience

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical or trade school certificate in business or computer science preferred
