Maintains department equipment through testing functions (i.e cleaning/ disinfection after use, set-up of Pl-evac, vents, Gomko and suction devices)

High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associates Degree, preferred.

Overview Secondary Special Education Teachers provide instruction to students with disabilities in grades 6-12. Detailed Job Description Secondary Special Education Teachers are responsible for providing instruction to students with disabilities in grades 6-12. They create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the needs of their students, and collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that students receive the best possible education. They also assess student progress, provide feedback to parents and guardians, and develop and implement behavior management plans. Job Skills Required

Job Knowledge Secondary Special Education Teachers must have a thorough knowledge of special education laws and regulations, as well as an understanding of the needs of students with disabilities. They must also be familiar with instructional strategies and techniques, and be able to create and implement individualized education plans.
