We are hiring immediately for a part-time ATTENDANT, STOREROOM position.

A high school diploma, its equivalent, or higher degree is required.

Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card.

Yearly pay increase (based on performance)

Demonstrate proficiency in packing all components and sub-components for all cases, boxes, and displays.

Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for the work performed.

Ensure condition of all outbound cases, boxes, and displays are clean, safe, and in good condition.

Monitor inventory levels on applicable component product lines to ensure book fairs can be properly packed.

Learn and demonstrate basic scanner proficiency, i.e. item inquiries and requesting replenishment of Pick locations.

Assist in the picking and packing of customer reorders

Maintaining all proper documentation, certification, and attend all required annual service training.

Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute prior to start date.

Prior experience working with children a plus.

Follow all state licensing guidelines when in care of children.

Identify and respond to camper behavior issues. Always be respectful when correcting behaviors and also when speaking with parents.

Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp program and HWC policies.

Experience in guiding outdoor tours, outdoor educational skills/programs, or transferrable teaching experiences in a group setting.

Knowledge of legal and risk management issues related to outdoor guiding.

Demonstrate in-depth technical understanding in relevant activity area to ensure a quality experience.

Adhere to land agency permit requirements and approved trip logistics.

Manage communications with site managers and other patrons and visitors as needed.

Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and teaching skills, addressing a variety of learning styles and communication techniques.

Able to follow specific instructions and perform duties given by the Garden Center Manager and Supervisor.

Skill in establishing priorities and managing both workload and time wisely.

Experience working with the public.

Customer Service; e.g. answering customer inquiries and assisting in helping customers make the appropriate buying decision.

Able to problem solve and suggest the appropriate course of action.

Respond to radio and store pages.

Starting Pay: $9.00 per hour.
