Horse and sleigh driving experience required; must have experience working with horses

Feed and water the horses, catch, groom, and transport horses to Haymaker

Harness and hitch horses to sleigh

Maintain cleanliness of all common and public areas of the hotel

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Experience planning and delivering educational programs.

Supports the experience of participants in the museum’s History Adventures summer program and responds to issues associated with program participants.

Experience with 19th century historical interpretation.

Requires basic knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of teaching and/or interpretation.

Basic knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of animal husbandry, gardening, farm trades and crafts or a willingness to learn.

Requires excellent interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills; the ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers of diverse backgrounds.
