Pay rate: $19.50 per hour.

Distribution and handling of daily and non-daily products to carriers, haulers, retailers and consumers.

Unload and load trucks containing various print publications.

Open the Distribution Center and prepare for the independent contractor arrival by printing, preparing, and distributing specified reports and paperwork.

Utilize industry specific software to handle required reporting for center.

General housekeeping of distribution center

Complete required documentation and reports for center as needed.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities as Assigned:

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):

Assist in the daily delivery of tank gas to include processing orders and performing physical inventory counts.

Responsible for completion of ordering and receiving in financial based software.

Pulling orders from the warehouse to accommodate staff on daily deliveries.

Accompany the vendor to various university locations to assist in and the verification of cylinder deliveries.

Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate tactfully and effectively with a diverse range of people.

Yale University is a tobacco-free campus

Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, technology, order fulfillment to retail, transportation, and supply chain management.

Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Enhance the customers' shopping experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Driver helper, assist with delivery to residences

Have strong communication skills with ability to communicate with management team, drivers, helpers, and customers.

Be a High School Graduate. Warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Unload products at customer stores and place in appropriate storage facility (i.e.: freezer, cooler or dry storage area).

Properly use double-count techniques to ensure accurate delivery of product.

Knowledge of Word and Excel preferred but not necessary.

Assist in the Office of the Comptroller

Processing accounts receivables, accounts payable, and fixed asset transactions, filing, copying, distribution of mail and customer service.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Utilizing provided technology for task management as assigned

Must meet all Frito-Lay and DOT qualifications

Previous Warehouse experience: Carting product, dead stack, Cardboard handling.

Being responsible for the correct sequence and order of carts from dead stack deliveries

Delivering product to assigned route stores

Support logistics coordination, with oversight and support from Regional Program Manager.

As requested, conduct research with guidance from Regional Program Manager.

Demonstrated research experience on topics of climate change, environmental journalism, and/or gender.

Previous experience with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Teams, or willingness to learn.

Proven organizational skills, with good attention to detail.

Familiarity with Windows operating environment; previous experience with tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams an asset.

Excellent customer contact and driving skills

Potential to move into a permanent role

Legal right to work in the U.S.

Valid driver’s license—no CDL required

Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
