Scenic And Graphic Designer Jobs

Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Studio Management

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Experience with 3D sculpture, modeling, and printing

Experienced with 2-part plastics, urethane, silicone, or poly-urethane foam coating systems

Basic math skills able to translate drawings to material orders

Knowledge of carpentry, welding/metal fabrication and general rigging

Knowledge of program management systems desired

Strong organizational and management skills.

Work closely with internal clients, project managers, team graphic designers, and external vendors to execute design concepts.

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suites required. Specifically Adobe Illustrator.

At least 4 years experience working within an internal or external creative agency.

At least 2 years of experience leading the design of projects from concept to completion.

Outstanding organization, time management, collaboration, and communication skills

Working knowledge in professional software applications to include Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint)

Bachelor's degree and/or 1-3 years of experience

Design visually appealing, hand-coded marketing emails, functional on all devices and email clients.

Social media upkeep and postings (LinkedIn, Twitter)

On-site conference support in many aspects (Shipping, prep, IT set-up, speaker support, registration, etc.)

Unpacking, sorting, and organizing incoming apparel inventory

Quality control! checking garments to ensure they meet our clients high standards

Documentation of orders via pictures of finished work for social media

Counting, creating shipping labels, and packing finished orders + ensuring they get to the proper carriers such as FedEX and UPS

To Design and deliver amazing interactive experiences for every single guest.

Producing guest-facing Scenic elements utilizing a variety of tools and materials.

Casting game pieces using various materials and methods

Applying Faux finishes using multiple application methods (Air brush, Spray Can, Paint Gun, Brush, roller, etc…)

Adherence to all shop policies and procedures.

Jumping in to help out wherever needed to meet our goals.

Excellent project management skills, independence, self-motivation, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a design studio

Experience in branding, editorial design, data visualization

Experience in digital and print production and optimizing graphics for multiple channels

Illustration, sketching, 3D modeling, rendering, UI/UX and/or creative coding skills are a plus

Photo editing and/or video editing skills are a plus

Experience: 3+ years experience in product styling and set styling required, including previous TV experience

Working knowledge of scenic construction, scene paining and set dressing required.

Working knowledge of style trends, interior design elements, current fashion looks, visual merchandising, and floral display.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.

Interpret design direction from Scenic Design Partners, choosing appropriate props, furniture and styling needs for live show.

Develop overall set style of particular shows turning empty sets into environments appropriate to the brand/product line.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Vast knowledge of social media specifically TikTok

Skilled in presentation design (Canva, Keynote, Google Slides)

A creative thinker that is outgoing, organized, and a team player.

Ability to work well and communicate within a team as well as externally

In lieu of education 5 years of relevant experience

Creatively translating information by assessing problems and conveying visual solutions, with support from more experienced staff.

A willingness to learn new skills, tools, and platforms and to think outside of the box to deliver unique digital solutions.

Associates Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or

Experience in web-first approach to developing digital solutions.

Experience designing prototypes and/or wireframes.
