Administrative, leadership or management experience in an education setting

Excellent organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working remotely and able to prioritize responsibilities to fit the needs of both internal and external partnerships

Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience and knowledge of college, and career, readiness systems

Experience with the AVID College Readiness System as well as a passion for the AVID mission

In-classroom experience and/or administrative/leadership (school or district) experience

Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.

Interview, hire, train, complete annual performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.

Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.

Supervise the budgeting, forecasting, training, scheduling, motivating and staffing of the Rooms Department. 

Plan, organize, chair, attend and/or participate in various meetings such as: Staff Meetings, Rooms Division Meetings, Family Lunch, Quality Teams Meetings, etc.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
