5+ years extensive experience Robotic programming and applications.

Excellent robotic high level and back ground programming skills on Fanuc, KUKA, ABB or equivalent brands.

Hands on experience commissioning and programming industrial robots

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manages significant projects which may require the use of sophisticated project planning techniques.

Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.

The specific job responsibilities include -

10.Participating, contributing and leading technical domain components of the grant applications via federal and non-federal sources.

2.3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS) design of complex and movable mechanical structures, end effectors and actuators.

3.Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process including molding process, general machining and 3D printing, packaging, etc.

4.Mechanical Design and Prototyping: Proficiency in CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS.

9.Familiarity with appropriate medical device regulatory standards such as ISO 13485,IEC 62304, IEC 60601 is desirable.

Responsible for developing target application requirements in close collaboration with Product Management, Business Development and Sales.

Experience in the use of industrial robots or cobots

Experience with image processing and sensor technology

Experience in PLC programming, especially CoDeSys

Knowledge in the field of robotics safety

Knowledge of programming with high-level or scripting languages desirable (e.g. Python, C++)

Working with program managers to identify requirements and meet those requirements on schedule for highly visible corporate initiatives.

C++, QML, Javascript, MATLAB, or Simulink experience required.

Knowledge of networking applications (OSI, TCP/IP models) is a plus.

Experience with multi-threaded application development is a plus.

Proven experience with path-planning algorithms is a plus.

B.S in mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience

4+ Years of Professional Robotics / Controls Engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, automotive preferred

Broad-based industrial maintenance experience, encompassing Electrical/PLC, Robotics, Mechanical, Stamping, Machining, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Conveyor systems, etc.

Experience with PLC programming (Siemens S7), troubleshooting, configuration and commissioning

Experience on robotics applications such as Spot Weld, Stud Weld, Adhesive, Self-Piercing Rivet, Vision, Arc Weld, Roll hemming.

Experience developing applications for computer vision systems

Experience with 2D or 3D engineering design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)

Experience with PLC and HMI programming

Experience developing applications in material handling systems

Experience designing and developing machine learning models

Experience developing or interacting with cloud based systems (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS), including development of custom messages, nodes, packages, or stacks

Knowledge of backend software development in C++ and Python for embedded Linux systems

Knowledge of software maintenance and deployment, to include version control, CI/CD, packaging, containerization, and documentation

Knowledge of algorithms and software for mobile robot sensing, perception, localization, navigation, and behaviors in the air and ground domains

Experience with Docker image development and container deployment

Experience working with NVIDIA Jetson modules, including integration, configuration, and software development
