Robot Technician Jobs

Working closely with Project Managers to devise, maintain, and continually improve project plans for deployments

Strong analytical and debugging skills

Planning and executing the on-site tasks of commissioning of robotics sites in coordination with other deployments and operations personnel

Review architectures, safety requirements and safety analyses of your team

Collaborative team player with strong written and in-person communication skills

Hands-on experience of defining, applying and coordinating safety analysis techniques such as HARA, FMEA, FTA in safety-related fields

Experience developing safety-related hardware or software across full development cycle

Experience in working with complex architectures and boosting safety integrity of non-safety components

Previous experience in Technical Support and with any service desk application is beneficial, but not required.

Good knowledge regarding mechanics, electronics, and IT.

Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, CLI tools, and scripting preferred, but not required.

Previous experience in managing a large fleet of devices.

10% - Accurately document all tasks/partner or internal messaging related to service concerns or robot-related issues using appropriate applications/tools.

5% - Work with our engineering team to identify any potential improvements regarding robot health and design.

Vision system experience is a asset.

*50% or greater travel requirement.

Experience as a Controls Engineer and Robotics Engineer is an asset but not necessary.

Fiat Chrysler (FCA), GM, Ford, Tesla, Rivian, Tier 1, Bodyshop Assembly and Buildshop experience is an asset.

GCCH, GCCS2, and GRS certification is an asset.

Rockwell, Omron and Siemens architecture.

Experience in software development in the form of university courses or equivalent

Experience of using Linux and navigation through the command lines

Strong analytical and debugging skills

Experience with containers ( eg. Docker)

Some programming experienced in C++ and/or Python in the form of university courses or equivalent

Candidates can either work from Chicago office or remotely

Hoisting and rigging experience Flexibility and problem solving skills

High School diploma or GED certification

Mechanical and electrical aptitude or experience

Eager to learn and grow your skills

Forklift certification, or willingness to learn, a plus

Assemble complex robots as part of our Truck Unload manufacturing process

Time management - you are able to efficiently manage multiple customer requests while delivering in a timely manner

Quality Assurance background - you have prior experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

Perform and oversee manual tests for multiple mobile applications

Collaborate with internal team members to address incoming customer requests

Document your findings from testing via written text and video captures

Assist the Customer Success team with investigations focused on mobile app bugs discovered during testing
