Performs work under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Track and Structures or the Manager of Track and Structures.
Previous construction, heavy equipment operation and/or welding experience
Demonstrated mechanical ability and aptitude, including experience using electric and/or gas powered hand tools and/or hydraulic power tools, is required.
Normal Schedule: November - April: 7:00am - 3:30pm. Availability to work four 10 hour days during summer.
Available for Callout and standby as need arises.
Tasks consist of general maintenance, construction and upkeep throughout railroad right-of-way.
