Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or Accounting preferred. Years of experience will be considered in lieu of preferred degree.

Ten years of progressive business office management or Revenue Cycle Management experience, including five years supervising 10 or more employees preferred.

Participate in contract negotiations, and provide accurate and timely contract management information.

Complete required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.

Manage and control daily payment posting.

3 years of experience in revenue cycle management

Certification as a Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) through Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is preferred.

Certified coder, coding auditor, or coding education experience

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems Epic preferred

Expertise in all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient billing, collections, denials management, and third-party reimbursement.

Experience working in a multi-specialty medical practice is preferred.

Epic, revenue cycle and /or, large healthcare system experience preferred.

Management experience in ambulatory surgery centers or a medical practice (preferred)

Revenue Cycle Manager-Benefits and Eligibility/Prior Authorizations

Participate in client calls and maintain client relationships remotely

Pull reports and monitor client accounts to ensure accounts receivables, unbilled procedures, verification of benefits and benchmarks are being met

2-3 years’ experience in medical billing/coding, collections, and medical insurance

2-3 years’ experience with ambulatory surgery centers or a medical practice

High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suite products; data management skills preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills

Learn new skills given a broad variety of assignments

5-10 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience

Knowledge and understanding of government and commercial payor rules and regulations

Experience working within health care organizations
