Previous work or internship experience at a record label or music distribution company is a plus but not a requirement.

Support the Retail Team by maintaining a meticulous release schedule, which is subject to constant changes, additions and deletions.

Compile artist images, music/video preview links, project descriptions, marketing highlights, and other assets to assist the Retail Team in their pitches.

Assist in the preparation of pitch presentations to streaming services and best practices workshops with label partners as needed.

Excellent time management skills and ability to adhere to a schedule

Learning product knowledge and providing customers with the necessary information

Apply knowledge of the product and brand to develop customized marketing strategies

High School Diploma or GED, some college experience is preferred

Superior communication, presentation, written and technical skills

Building relationships, receiving referrals and directly promoting products and services across promotional events on a daily basis

Deep knowledge of national retailer best practices and capabilities

Set, manage and balance the retail marketing budget

Partner with the Education and Marketing teams to develop training content and strategy, including development of a field marketing discipline

10+ years of experience within product marketing, channel marketing or retail marketing in consumer goods or consumer electronics industries

Analytical, with experience tracking and reporting marketing ROAS and optimization

Experience working at innovative and fast-paced businesses

Outstanding communication skills both verbal & written.

Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.

Able to work effectively in a team environment

Detail-oriented and the ability to follow up on tasks.

Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude

Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently
