Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

Management background or Associates Degree or higher is preferred.

Preferred - Experience requirements in a tertiary-level medical care facility with at least 300 – 500 bed capacity.

Responsible for ensuring employee work schedule is covered with adequate staffing on a daily basis through Managers.

Ensure QC inspections are performed on a daily basis by the Managers and QC on all employees.

Observe Managers daily by rounding in their areas – document findings

Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary

Manage outside vendors/contractors, securing bids and scheduling needed work on special projects tracking all maintenance expenditures and procedures (10%)

Assist all maintenance team members in the their job duties and assume maintenance activities when needed (75%)

Good communication skills are required

Provide local management leadership and direction on practices and workforce/equipment utilization.

Monitor regional teams' safety, quality, and production and provide recommendations for improvement to Division/Service Line Management.

Partner with other Regional Managers to develop and deliver coordinated and consistent services across all regions.

Communicates safety initiatives, rules, and guidelines for Office or Region. Holds Managers and Employees accountable for following safety rules and guidelines.

Execute the initiatives of a segment of the business operating within local offices within a region and across the organization.

Oversee and ensure consistent operations and practices of regional teams by providing training, inspections, and monitoring/balancing workload.

Proven experience (X+ years) in housekeeping management within a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership role within a hospital.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Budgeting and resource management experience.

Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including patient room cleaning, public area cleaning, waste management, and laundry services.

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to hospital cleaning practices, infection control, and safety procedures.

Collaborate with other departments, such as facility management, nursing, and infection control, to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.

5+ years’ experience in supervisory positions in Environmental Services and Maintenance

Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

Low Pressure Boiler Certification (Where the building being serviced requires such.)

Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, SDS, OSHA, EPA, CMS, regulations, and fire codes

Coordinates engineering contractors/vendors, assuring insurance and licenses are current

Conducts regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms system and sprinkler systems

· Assists the residents with understanding of their specific health plan benefits

· Plans and coordinates health education and support groups for residents, family and/or staff.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearwater, FL 33759: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

· Monitors and oversees any outside care providers working at the community.

· Assesses prospective residents for appropriateness of residency.

5+ years management experience in professional recruiting, temp agency recruiting, career center or human resources;

Must have demonstrable management and organizational skills;

Oversee the management of department budget for staffing, programming, and various events;

Knowledge of curriculum and graduation requirements;

Knowledge of academic student record keeping in a setting of higher education;

Actively maintain an awareness of employment and industry trends and discuss research with Career Services and Education department as appropriate;
