Overview A Resident Physician is a medical doctor who is in the process of completing their medical training. They are supervised by attending physicians and are responsible for providing patient care, performing medical procedures, and teaching medical students. Detailed Job Description A Resident Physician is responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of an attending physician. This includes diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and performing medical procedures. They also provide education and counseling to patients and families. Resident Physicians must keep up to date with the latest medical advances and treatments, and they may be involved in research projects. They must also teach medical students and supervise interns and other medical staff. Job Skills Required
