Able to meet attendance requirements

May include some or all of the following:

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

Dust furniture, railings, woodwork, etc.

Clean restrooms, classrooms, hallways, lobbies, etc.

Set up and clean up for events.

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Able to meet attendance requirements

Serve as information desk contact on main floor.

Greet visitors; respond to questions.

Monitor building activities via walk-throughs.

Serve as Campus Security Authority.

Excellent organizational skills, effective time-management, experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Be able to build and maintain a good relationship with RD’s, RA’s, and other Facilities Management staff. .

Submit repair/maintenance requests and coordinate with Facilities Management on work to be done.

Requires general knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to Hazardous Chemicals.

Complies with environmental health and safety requirements and procedures as outlined in University and State policies and directives.

Manage chemistry lab facilities and materials
