Job Title - Research Data Analyst

Location - Brooklyn , NY

Interact with all levels of management and business units to communicate issues, new projects and related CMS and other systems matters

CMS experience (Cargo Ops & Res System)

Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools

Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Excel etc.

3+ years of experience as a systems/ data analyst

Bachelor's degree required (marketing, economics, statistics) plus 3-5 years relative experience.

Advanced MS Excel experience required (pivot tables, vLookups, etc.)

Experience with Python a Plus

BI Tool Experience (Tableau, Looker etc.)

Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Previous experience in drafting and coding surveys is a plus

Supporting in building and maintaining data management structures and tools for long-term qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

Managing timelines for various analytics responsibilities and collaborate with the project manager to move forward respective workstreams.

Background in research and education, with prior experience on research projects analyzing student-level data

An intersectional, anti-racist lens and strengths-based approach to data management, and team collaboration

Working closely with district partners to manage the sharing of student-level data.

Working closely with a subgroup to meet any grant or progress evaluation requirements.

2+ years experience in a Data Analyst role

Advanced knowledge of SQL, scripting languages and database concepts

Experience with BI Software (Superset, Tableau etc)

Collaborate with Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers to build key datasets and data pipelines using Python/ETL frameworks

Build consistency, automation and accuracy in Compliance reports and dashboards

Develop Compliance reports/dashboards; communicate key results to Compliance and cross-functional stakeholders through self-serve tools and dashboards

10+ years of experience in data analysis and research.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience with research applications (Qualtrics)

Experience in people data (work in a people team)
