Research Assistant I Molecular Bioa Jobs in Washington

Help develop data management group SOPs and other documentation as needed

Lead on overall organization of data management group files

Perform other responsibilities as assigned

BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of one year post-master's or three years post-bachelor's project coordination experience in a research setting.

Attention to detail, organization skills, ability to problem solve and to prioritize multiple competing tasks

0-1 years related work experience required.

Performs literature searches and library investigations as they relate to the research and/or as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science or a related scientific field required.

Familiarity with basic laboratory instruments and equipment, computers (databases, spreadsheets, statistics) and scientific procedures.

Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

BA/BS in a scientific field is required. Must have have scientific knowledge in the area of study and basic laboratory skills.

Minimum of 3 years research laboratory experience.

Great attention to details, well-organized, self-motivated, and able to efficiently manage time and experiments.

Independent research experience in addition to school lab experience is preferred.

Perform immunochemical assays such as ELISA, BLI and Western blotting.

Operate and carry out basic maintenance and QC of laboratory equipment.
